The 2019 Hunternet Chairman’s Awards were held at the Merewether Surfhouse on Thursday 21st November 2019. Hedweld would like to congratulate Cameron Bowman, 1st Year apprentice boilermaker, on winning the 2019 Hunternet Excellence in Safety Award. The award was announced in front of family and colleagues.
As Cameron is a 1st year apprentice, it is encouraging to see him leading by example. Not only raising his safety concerns with senior tradespeople, but also other apprentices and co-workers. Emphasising Cameron’s courage, determination and willingness to put his and fellow workers safety first. Cameron frequently offers Safety Share’s at daily toolbox talks, again displaying his commitment and mindset that safety is at the forefront of his work life behaviours, for this we praise him.
Hedweld would also like to take this opportunity to Congratulate Mark Lindsay, 3rd Year apprentice mechanical fitter, on being nominated as a Finalist for 2019 Hunternet Apprentice of the Year Award.
